*Derek looks up to the left, as if listening to someone. He then nods and speaks*

"If the corpsefuckers become a problem we can just make it unprofitable for them to be a problem. They don't have the market cornered on crime and influence.'

*Traveler winks at Malory*

"Should be fun, either way."

*Traveler turns back to the main conversation*
"Or we can try negotiation and compromise first. We have a long way to go before we get to the fucking each other over point."

"What you think of as fucking over is actually just a tactic to get them to the table. Fucking over would be planting them 6 feet under."

"Securing the city should be a high priority. It's always better to negotiate from a position of strength."

A man loiters somewhere near the middle of the crowd. The contradiction inherent in a collection of vampires being called a 'crowd' means that however quiet he may have been, he didn't go unnoticed. He looks like someone crammed a mild-mannered Humanities professor into a battered trench coat and gave him the kind of look that one doesn't get through mild-mannered professing. He stands silently for most of the above, looking around and taking in the scene, as if trying to make a complex calculation. Eventually, he steps forward.

"You can count me in."
